Six Flags Playdium (sometimes known as Playdium) is an indoor amusement park located in the Schuyler Lake Mall in Canandaigua, New York. It is owned by Six Flags.

History Edit

The park opened in 1977 as "Schuyler Lake's Playdium" originally as a sister park to Schuyler Lake. The park was expanded in 1991 and again in 2007. In 1995, it was sold to Premier Parks and renamed "Playdium Finger Lakes" In 1999, Six Flags bought the park and it was renamed "Six Flags Playdium". It was the first indoor amusement park in the world.

Young Yankee Clipper 1977 An Arrow Dynamics kiddie mini train roller coaster. Formerly known as "Runaway Railway" (1977-1987). Located in the Looney Tunes Seaport section. This is the only ride in the Looney Tunes Seaport section that is not themed around the Looney Tunes.

  • Kong - 1998 to 2015 - A B&M stand up coaster. Renovated into Green Lantern.
  • Windstorm - 1987 to 1992 - A TOGO Ultra Twister coaster. Replaced with Batman: The Ride.
  • S.W.A.T. - (2003-2015) - An S&S Sky Swat ride. Replaced with Deja Vu.
  • Roar - (1977-2016) A PTC wooden roller coaster. Replaced with Mighty Roar. Formerly known as "Roaring Thunder Kat" (1977-1998).
